Do you have a lot of complaints about life? How life is unfair? How other people’s lives are much better than yours? How life is meaningless?

If it is resentment that you have about life, then what you are missing is “Life” within you.

Most people have no idea of the fact that the seed of your experience is within you. Everything you experience whether it is love or hate, anger or calmness, misery or ecstasy takes place within you.

Our experience is something we create in each moment throughout of our lives. It is true that we cannot control the situation happening outside of us, but we possess all the power to create our experience. How we experience any particular situation is a choice we make.

To live your life to your fullest, you must learn to appreciate the present moment. Whatever your past was and whatever your future will be, it is something you cannot possess now. All you have is the present moment. You must own it fully and completely.

That is where gratitude can change your experience. There is enough scientific research available now that has proved the positive impacts gratitude has on our mind.

According to research, people who practice gratitude live longer. They are happier and more successful. They maintain a better relationship with their family and people. They have less stress and worries.

It is my belief and hopes that with this blog I will be able to bridge a gap you have created between yourself and life because you are busy chasing your dream.

A single ray of light is enough to kill the deepest darkness and it works the same for your being. Practice the gratitude in your present moment for everything you have, especially in those moments when you feel life is letting you down.

It does not matter how hard you think your life is at this moment, you can always find that ray which brings you hope. I have gathered some of the reason to be always grateful for in my life. In my opinion, everyone shares these reason.

Be grateful because you are breathing.

Do you know that 150,000 people in this world did not wake up today and another 150,000 people will not wake up tomorrow? If you wake up today and you are breathing, be grateful for this experience.

Most people take their life for granted because they believe they will live for a long time, but believe me that nobody knows it.

I had an experience when I was 20 years old. I jumped in a river stupidly, without knowing how deep this river is and how to swim. Fortunately, four guys over there saved my life. That experience is still very alive with me. While writing these lines, I can feel the taste of that water in my mouth.

My journey into personal development made me understand how to translate this experience into a gratefulness wisdom.

Close your eyes and imagine the power of your breath now. You are able to do whatever you want to today. Take this moment and be grateful for this fact that you are alive.

You have more than you need for survival.

If you are reading this article, then I am certain that you have access to a phone, a computer, electricity, and internet. I believe it is a very big reason to be grateful for.

So many people take it for granted because they have never seen or been to a place where people do not have the necessary things such as water, food and a roof. Life can be really hard in those places.

How did you feel when your internet is not working, but you really have to send this important message or your phone is dead and you realise that you need to make that urgent call.

We all have these experiences, but we forget. We do not value them because they are available to us easily. But, have you ever thought what would happen if life is without all these things.

Take time to appreciate it. Be grateful for each and everything you possess.

You have someone who believes in you.

I am not talking about your spouse or your romantic partner. It can be anybody a friend, a teacher, a student, a boss, or a family member, but you all have at least one person in your life that believes you and supports you.

If you are thinking that you do not have one, you need to know people better than that. Sometimes, it is us who forget to believe in people because someone at some point in your life broke your trust.

Believe in people. It is the people who provide meaning to your life. As a friend, a customer, a parent or just a stranger, it is the people, who believe in you.

Be grateful for the one who believes in you. Mean it with all your heart.

You have the power to change your experience.

Emotional power

We are the only species on this planet who has the power to choose the experience. That is the reason, you will find that two different people are having a completely different experience from exactly the same situation in the same environment.

If you have been to a movie with a friend, then you know what I am talking about.

Most people are not aware of it, but you choose your own experience out of every situation. Let me explain it to you.

How do you feel when your partner tells you, “I love you”? Your heart is filled with love and you feel on the top of the world. Now imagine the same person did something which makes you really angry. After that same person tells you the same thing with the same feeling but did you feel the same? No, because you choose not to.

This power makes us who we are. This is the power that changes one ordinary man to Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela. Realise this power within you. Reach within and try to experience something different than you normally expect out of a particular situation.

Be grateful because you can do it and because it can transform your perception towards your life.

You have the power to make your destiny.

J. K. rolling was on a train when she decided to make her destiny. It was not easy. She faced rejections from 12 publishers for 6 years, but she had already made her destiny in her world. It was just needed to bring it to the reality.

We have countless stories of the people who have changed their lives. People have become rock bottom from the top and a shining star from the dust.

That is the power we are gifted with. We do not have to earn it.

Read the story of successful people who have already done it so it can come to your consciousness that you have this power.

Be grateful for this power you are gifted with and make your destiny.

I am always grateful to the books, people and articles I come across. You do not know what can impact you enough or inspired you enough so that you choose to make your destiny.

For me, it was a YouTube video by Sadhguru which inspired to design my own website, writing my blog every week, writing my small book for free give away and learn more about human every day.

It has become my purpose to reach and help people with the knowledge I have gathered through all these years of study of self-development. I am now a different person physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Be grateful for every opportunity comes to you which contribute to your growth in any way whether it is this article or a book or a person.
